Quick Crochet dog coat

looks very cozy and warm now. Didn't notice the floor... I looked but I can't see any dirt. Mum's just bought a jumper for one of her 'chilly' dogs, this looks nicer tho.

Aw this is sweet, should be nice and cosy too. What dirt???? I hate mopping floors it seems so pointless, as soon as I finish it someone either puts muddy footprints on it or spills something on it. There's always a tea stain near the bin cupboard no matter how many times I wipe it up.

I didn't use a pattern I just tested the fit as I went along.I based it on the knit pattern in the summer 2007 Interweave KNITS the knit one wasn't big enough for Eddie and I don't know how to convert knit patterns so I just looked at it and crochet something close.

I am sure Eddie appreciated it - I knitted a red and beige check one for my old dog Scruffy (he's 14 now) a couple of years ago. Even in Florida, it get's really cold especially at night, so he wears it to go out at night when we have our really cold spells in winter. My son laughed when he saw it, but, as you say, the cold weather, is really tough on an old dog.

p.s. floor looked o.k.to me - we have taken photos of Scruffy (bearded collie mix) and saw chunks of hair all over the carpet. He shed terrible certain times of the yar.
