Granny Sqares

All are fabulous - like the raised flowers in the middle Jx

I like the 2 white squares with the raised red flower and the red with white flower. Have fun - looking forward to seeing the completed afghan.

They are really lovely and would make a lovely afghan...........altho they would all work well have you thought if the ones with raised flowers get sat on it might spoil them...........i have made loads of throws and i just work 12 rounds on a grannie squares and then crochet them together according to what size you want it to be when finished. It would be such a shame if after all your hard work the raised flowers get spoilt.

Not worried about the flowers getting squished I have ordered worsted weight Plymouth Yarn's Encore it's 75%acrylic and 25% wool I have asthma and allergies so it will have to be washed 1 a week this is the yarn the gal at my local yarn store suggested

My favs are the red & cream versions in all the patterns!!

They are all beautiful... really like the cream and red squares the best.... I look forward to seeing the finished afghan.

They are all lovely squares and such nice colours together, but i love the blue with the yellow centre.

Thanks girls ! the colors I ordered are shades of mauve , green and a cream. when I get my yarn I'm going to do some sample squares first.
