Auntie Ann's Gift Bag

My Creation

I decided to make something memorable for my dear freind Ann. She is my newborn's adopted "auntie". Ann has been tremendously supportive and generous to us all...

Thank you ladies for the lovely comments. Suechris I designed this bag myself. The pattern is as follows: I used Aran wool and 4mm needles. Cast on 20 stitches and work in moss stitch (Row 1: knit 1, purl 1; Row 2: purl 1, knit 1 - repeat these two rows) for approx 70 rows or to the size you require. The handles (you will need 2) cast on 3 stitches and work in moss stitch (knit 1, purl 1) for approx 50 rows or to the length of handles you require. I love forward to seeing the bags you knit.

This is FAB!! I'm thinking that, as my knitting is "rubbish", I could do a version in crochet. Little gift bags or children's bags - your inspiring me!! PS: Hope you little Patrick is well & thriving. xx
