Here's what our BBQ planter looks like now!!

My Creation

Here's what our old BBQ we planted up with salad leaves, spinach and fennel looks like now. Not for long though we are eating it daily, will plant some more seeds at the week though to keep it going.

In here, oak leaf lettuce, some mixed salad leaves, baby spinach, fennel. In the pots, chervil, russian tarragon, parsley, sage. In the rest of the garden, yellow and green courgettes, french beans, cherry toms, baby aubergines, salad spuds, rasberries, blackberries, spring onions, broad beans...oh and a few flowers here and there.

What a great idea. I've just planed some salad seeds and they are just beginning to pop up - so a few weeks time if the slugs leave them alone

I'm on slug patrol most nights with my torch, I used to be squeamish (not sure that's how you spell that??) but not anymore, it's them or my veg!!!, it's war. It's just as well I've got good neighbours, what with the torch flashing about and me muttering at my arch enemies!!!, it's a wonder they haven't sent for the men in white coats. hehehe
