My Creation:
Today my husband, my parents, niece, nephew and I visited Gillighan's World in Co. Sligo. It was a very enjoyable day seeing the fairies despite the very inclement weather, and yes it was the dreaded rain! It poured rain all day and we got soaked even though we all had umberellas. Gilliaghan's World is for all ages and especially for people who believe in fairies. To tell you the truth I wouldnt want to mess with the fairies.
There was miniature villages and delighful fairy habitats nestle in beautiful water and botanical gardens, with a stone tunnel entrance, dolmen and amphitheatre. Enchanted glade, secluded picnic areas, pet village, water cave and spectacular panoramic views from the Fairy Fort. (There is a photo of me at the Fairy Fort making my wish - you had to close your eyes and turn around three times and if you faced Mountain Knoknashee when you opened your eyes your wish would come true.)
