Chocolate dipped shortbread fingers!
We're having a minor obsession with chocolate dipped shortbread fingers at the moment. Of course they have to be home made as the prices of vegan shortbread! Astronomical! Also I think one packet might just about do dad, which would leave nothing for mum and I to eat then.
So I've made these twice in a row now and finished the last one off today. Just a nice simple Vienesse Whirl recipe, adapted to finger shapes and then dipped in 55% dark chocolate, which tastes quite thick and creamy for us now that we're used to 80% cocoa most of the time!
For the record, I very rarely leave the kitchen, I must have to cook or bake about 4 different items every day!
