Meet "Daisy", the newest member of the Rees family!

My Creation

I've always wanted a Taylor's Dummy - and I found Daisy on eBay.......
She is second hand (perhaps I should have called her Rose..lol) but in very good condition, apart from being a tad dusty when I got her out of the box. A quick once over with the hoover, a spray of Fabreeze & my mam's handmade vintage dress & Daisy said she felt right at home & feeling fab.....
As you see her now, she's been 'adjusted' to my size bust, waist, hips & height so I'm ready to attempt my first project - whatever that may be..!!

Thanks Moe & HRH...... xx I agree Moe, stunning dress - my mother made this dress in the 60's for my aunt who was going on a cruise. It's just beautiful - delicate cream lace, fully lined with green silk effect fabric - I can't imagine what it would cost to make now.... On a completely different level - the belt cost 75p in a sale in Asda.......!!

Great bargain Jo .... I used to have a tailor's dummy but I couldn't adjust the body length enough for me .... I have a long body & short legs .... Not easy to fit :-( Now I get Chris to help me fit dresses .... Love the dress too ..... Have fun with making your new wardrobe xx

I have always wanted a dummy, but could never afford one. That one looks fab. However I have found several ways of creating your own, using an old top, some expanding foam, some duct tape and a broom handle. Once I get the bits together, I'll give it a try and introduce her to Daisy :-)
