A Hubby's Project

My Creation

Here is a van convertion by the hubby----I've allowed him a spot light so as he doesn't feel left out!!!!
It goes some thing like this:
Take one oldish well used but well cared for caravan (this is only pic I colud find with the caravan in the background so had to zoom in but you "get the picture")
Plus purchase a fairly new "white van" that is clean and empty.
Insulate and line the van interior getting the wife to lend a hand when ever necessary no matter what she is the middle of doing.
Install the all preforming style campervan windows and vents.
Remove caravan interior and fix into van interior with lots of huffing and puffing and mega amounts of swearing.
Get wife to alter and customise seat cushions, upholistering the back "wall" and making scatter cushions.
Take to sign writer and have decols put on exterior.
With left over caravan chasis make covered trailor.
Weld the galvanised steel sheets, after cutting to shape, making the box section.
Spray trailor white ( this was then ready to put the sons motor cross bikes in for the races they loved to do but it was only used about 6 times as one son is now working in Bermuda and the other on his way to Australia)
Sell trailor.
Holiday test the van with the wife.

Thanks all, Hubby will be chuffed (to little mint balls, as andie would say, or my bro would say chuffed to monkeys!!!) with all your praise, and I'm even more chuffed as you all seem to think that I'm the one that deseres all the fun!!! Infact the tent for a hubby to sleep in would save all that making up and putting away of the seat cum bed area!!!
