New baby stitched quilt card

My Creation:

This is the first time I have used my sewing machine to make a card. I punched out little squares from 12 different blue papers then stuck them in place with glue. I then used a zig-zag stitch on the sewing machine to sew on the join between each piece of the quilt. I edged the quilt in ribbon which I then sewed on. The cute baby stamp is from Elzybells and is paper pieced and layered onto a punched scallop. I decorated each square of the quilt with various little bits I found on our very good haberdashery stall at our local market.
I really liked the effect of the sewing and am off back upstairs now to fight through the mountains of strewn and discarded papers to try it on another card!
