Sausage rolls and pies!
I couldn't keep out of the kitchen, I should be stewing down damsons but instead I found myself baking vegan sausage rolls and vegan chicken pies for our Bank Holiday Monday special tea :) I made extremely low fat wholemeal pastry and used Granose soy mixes for the filling, Lincolnshire for the rolls and Chicken Roast for the pies. I also added mustard and two organic home grown onions to the rolls for a bit of extra zing.
And of course, I couldn't resist trying a couple when they came straight out of the microwave whilst they were still hot and extremely delicious! One of the pies has gone the way of dad already too, and there I was hoping it'd make the freezer....
