My Creation:

-Tomorrow (14 May 2009), we're having a potluck at the Ladies' Bible class I attend! So I thought I would try out a new recipe for peanut butter and jam thumbprint cookies! They didn't come out as beautiful as I would have liked, but hey! Can't be perfect!
-List of ingredients:
+2 cups (or so) of peanut butter
+2 cups flour
+3 eggs
+1 tsp of vanilla extract
+2 cups sugar (I used 1 cup sugar, 1 cup Splenda substitute sweetener)
+Any flavour jam (I used Smuckers sugar-free jam; it holds up under the heat of the oven)
-Directions:
+Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees (F).
+Mix PB, flour, eggs, vanilla, and sugar together in large bowl, adding very small bit of water if it is just too dry.
+Drop generous dollops of cookie mix onto greased cookie sheets, making sure there is adequate space between each cookie.
+Fill a small bowl or glass with water- dip your thumb into it.
+With a wet thumb, press a round indentation into the cookie mix- wet your thumb every time the cookie mix starts to stick to it.
+Add small dollops of jam into the cookies' indentations, making sure not to allow them to overflow too much.
+Place in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
+Allow cooling on a plate.
+THE BEST PART: EAT THEM! <3
