-So, I had a completely DIY wedding reception/party (21 December 2006), and in total, including catered food and expensive champagne (my parents insisted on those things), it cost me 2000$!
-In these photos:
+Wedding favours (jordan almonds + Christmas coloured Hershey Kisses, cocoa cones, and hand-painted glass keepsake ornaments)
+Vegan wedding cakes (which shocked everyone, because they were "so tasty")
+Cut-out cards (made with red/green/white cardstock from Michael's Crafts, "love" charms, ribbon, and lots of patience!)
+My adorable hubby and me. ;)

What a great job you did on your invites and favours, those cakes look yummy too and you and your hubby look to be having fun with it.
