Billy's feathers project 3

My Creation

2 more items made with the feathers. The necklace was to be a pair of earrings but I messed up the other feather with glue and there wasn't another for an exact colour match, I am now attempting the dreamcatcher but all I am catching at the moment is Barnaby who keeps chasing the cord.I shall have to find a cat free spot!

These are both lovely,I'm looking forward to seeing dreamcatcher when you manage to hide from barnaby long enought to make it.

I think Barnaby is just trying to help, in a cat kind of way! Pretty earrings

they are lovely were they easy to make?

julieanneb commented on 2009-02-25 12:18:33

Very easy to make, although fiddly, one cough and I was hunting for the feather I was trying to fix. I threaded a small seed bead on wire, bent it in half with a twist to secure attached the feather with another twist around the quill and a spot of glue, threaded the larger bead/s onto the doubled wire and over quill, let dry and then attached to either a jump ring or earring clasp. (Go easy with glue as it is easy to mess up the feather)
