Summer Sun Charm Bracelet

My Creation

This was my very first attempt at making anything resembling jewellery and I have to say I am still not happy with the outcome and feel I need to do something more to complete it.I can't explain what I mean except that when a project I feel is complete is ready I have that contented feeling. In this case I am still pondering and dont think I will ever be happy with the outcome so this is my back of the draw charm bracelet. lol :) Just sharing it so that anyone else who tends to feel discouraged out there knows they are certainly NOT alone. ;) I have since made another charm bracelet for a teacher who was retiring at my sons school and it had Rose Quartz Angels and Mother of Pearl Hearts plus many other beautiful stones and beads on and I was much happier with the outcome.Teacher loved it to. So,it really does pay to practise. And of course 'Not give up'... as I was about to. I sadly never took photo's of the second one because I had just minutes to attach the last few beads before taking the bracelet into school in time for her departure.

This is lovely Honeypies, but I know what you mean about sometimes a project just doesn't feel right. I've made a few things that I was unsure about, some I've taken apart but a couple I decided to put them on sale at a fair to see if they sold and guage what people thought about them. Both items sold early on so I suppose sometimes what we think isn't right another person thinks is just right.

Hello Andie honey, i think your right,I showed this to one friend and she said its lovely but my daughters are more critical and tend to do the same as myself and analyze what could be done to improve.I still may go back and alter it some ...but right now I will give it a wide birth whilst I try some other jewellery. Thanks honey for your comments xx
