My Creation:
This is actually an old (19mths) photo but it is one of my favourite knitting patterns. This is Alyssa the day after she was born. I knitted her outfit - the same pattern as I'd knitted for her mummy to come home from hospital some 28yrs ago now. I lost the original pattern when we moved house (some KIND person was HELPING and threw away a box of 'old papers' - all my best knitting and sewing patterns!!) I managed to get the pattern (albeit a more modern version) and so Alyssa had an outfit 'just like mummy's'. Needless to say 'in my day' we didn't know the sex of our unborn babies, so Alyssa's mummy had a cream outfit!
