This is actually an old (19mths) photo but it is one of my favourite knitting patterns. This is Alyssa the day after she was born. I knitted her outfit - the same pattern as I'd knitted for her mummy to come home from hospital some 28yrs ago now. I lost the original pattern when we moved house (some KIND person was HELPING and threw away a box of 'old papers' - all my best knitting and sewing patterns!!) I managed to get the pattern (albeit a more modern version) and so Alyssa had an outfit 'just like mummy's'. Needless to say 'in my day' we didn't know the sex of our unborn babies, so Alyssa's mummy had a cream outfit!

Superb ! The little one is cutetoo , was she sleeping or was it the "Please turn the camera flash off" pose. My mum saved the babygrows I used to have when I was a wee one. Its nice to get photos in the same outfits (as long as you write on the back of the photos whos in it as I have a poor memory and need to prompted). I still tend not to use patterns as that way no matter how it turns out you can say it was supposed to be like that and there is no phographic evidence to prove otherwise, So luckly I have not lost any patterns as yet (apart from the one glues and coloured by my boy.
