My Creation:

Julieann - you've started something here!!
This is my mother, also no longer with us. I've mentioned her many times before as a very talented crafter. When I was a child she made a lot of my clothes, not only sown, but knitted & crocheted too. When my boys were children, Mam was always making the latest 'picture knit' or toy for them. She was a pretty mean cook too.
She taught me how to do lots of things & to always have a go.

What a lovely picture of your Mum Jo, such lovely memories arent they. I am not at home at the moment so cant post picture of my Mum right now. Mum tried to teach me as a child to knit but i didnt listen...so it was Dad of all people who taught me those knitting stitches. xx

Lovely photo's both my sister (julieann) and I miss our mum dreadfully, I think we got a lot of our skills from her, mum was always sewing, baking, knitting so between us we have learnt a lot from her. Thanks for sharing with us.
