Many thanks my dear Busy ladies .I've missed you , too.Now I'm back . Here is the recipe : You need 3 cups red or pink rose petals, gently pressed and thick base cut away 2 cups water 2 cups sugar Freshly squeezed juice of 1 lemon sliced Put the rose petals in a colander and rinse well under cool running water Bring the 2 cups of water to a boil with 2 cups of sugar . Add the rose petals and cook for 30 minutes until tender Stir in the lemon juice and lemon sliced and cook for another 30 min .Remove the saucepan from the heat. Immediately transfer the hot mixture into the jars and seal. That's all. I've just opened a jar from last year and is as fresh made. you can keep on the shelf very well , for a year and more or when it's open , reopened , in the fridge. The preserves can be eaten right away .Just delicious, All the best , Ada xoxxxxxxxx
