My Creation:

I HAVE BEEN ASKED BY TWO FRIENDS RETRO REVIVAL AND BETTYTEE FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE AN EASEL DRAWER BOX CARD, SO HERE GOES, I'VE EVEN DONE STEP-BY-STEP PICTURES FOR YOU:

1/ START OFF WITH A PIECE OF STRONGISH CARD MEASURING 11 INCHES BY 7 INCHES.
2/ SCORE THIS PIECE LANDSCAPE AT 5 INCHES AND 6 INCHES.
3/ TURN TO PORTRAIT AND SCORE AT 1 INCH AND 6 INCHES.
4/ BURNISH ALL SCORE LINES AND CUT THE TABS.
5/ PUT TOGETHER USING SUPER TACKY TAPE OR WET GLUE.

FOR THE DRAWER, YOU WILL NEED A PIECE OF CARD, JUST A SMIDGE BEFORE 7 INCH SQUARE. WHAT I MEAN BY A SMIDGE, IS THE MARK, JUST BEFORE THE 7 INCH MARK.

1/ SCORE AT 1 INCH ON ALL 4 SIDES.
2/ BURNISH ALL SCORE LINES AND CUT THE TABS.
3/ THEN JUST STICK TOGETHER.

YOU CAN AT THIS STAGE ADD A BRAD FOR THE DRAWER HANDLE.

1/ TO MAKE THE EASEL CARD, JUST CUT A PIECE OF CARD 10 INCHES BY 5 INCHES AND SCORE LANDSCAPE AT 5 INCHES. TO MAKE THE EASEL, JUST OPEN UP THE CARD AND SCORE LANDSCAPE AT 2 1/2 INCHES, AND FOLD.
2/ CUT ANOTHER PIECE OF CARD 5 INCH SQUARE, AND ATTACH TO THE EASEL PART.
3/ ATTACH THE EASEL CARD TO THE TOP OF YOUR BOX/DRAWER.

I USED A FANCY EDGE DIE FOR MY EASEL PART, BUT A PLAIN SQUARE IS JUST AS NICE.

DECORATE YOUR CARD AS YOU WISH.

TO MAKE A BOX TO PUT YOUR EASEL DRAWER BOX CARD IN, I JUST CUT ONE PIECE OF CARD 8 1/2 INCH SQUARE, AND ANOTHER ONE JUST A SMIDGE SMALLER THAN 8 1/2 INCH SQUARE.

SCORE AT 1 1/2 INCHES ON ALL SIDES, AND BURNISH, AND CUT THE TABS AND STICK. YOUR BASE AND LID SHOULD FIT PERFECTLY, AS THE BASE WILL BE JUST A SMIDGE SMALLER THAN THE TOP.

HOPE YOU FIND THE TUTORIAL USEFUL, AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOUR CREATIONS, IF YOU MAKE ANY. ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK XXXXXXX

Thanks for this Betty, I had to find the proper measurement through trial and error. I've only made lidded boxes but have been wanting to try one with a drawer for Christmas. Thanks again x
