Fabric Notice Board

My Creation:

It's not often I make something for myself but I really wanted a pretty notice board for my sewing room. It's now full, so got another project lined up to keep my bits of paper organised. I'm going to make a pin board out of two planks of cork laminate flooring, they were destined for the bin, so I rescued them, just on the look out now for a big chunky frame & then I can make a start on it.

Ohh i've bought some material and some wadding to make one of these myself but have been struggling to find some cork board to use as a backing, This is really lovely!

Thank everyone!! lisamarierams, I attached my wadding & fabric straight onto a Stretched canvas & stapled it at the back, but if you want to do yours onto cork the cheapest place I found it was Wicks, they do a pack of 9 floor tiles I think they were around £8 a pack.

have always wanted to do one but never got round to it I have two canvas frames that were to be used for a long forgotten project now this is my project for the new year it is very pretty as well as serving a pupose

Thank you everyone! I'm glad you all like my notice board, I hope it has inspired you all to make one for yourselves, I know I couldn't do without mine now. : ) To Chrystal, I made my notice board out of a large stretched canvas, I attached the ribbon to the back of the frame with my staple gun first & then I stitched it in place where they cross over with a button.
