My Creation:
This is kylie kangaroo and jason joey (get the Neighbours joke?) My niece Little Fred saw the kangaroo I knitted for my son Big Fred and said it was no good as it did not have a baby in a pouch! So I have knitted this one for her birthday this month. I haven't got round to typing up the pattern because I spend far too much time here having fun with you lot. It will of course be available soon on Ebay,Etsy and at my madmonkeyknits.com website.
The joey was harder than I thought because I made the pouch first using the crew neck technique for the opening and thought I had left loads of room inside. I did the joeys head but the body had to be slightly smaller than planned due to lack of space. Still babies always have enormous heads don't they?
