My Creation:
I love this yarn...it's a dream to knit with but a bear to match! Hence the two pairs of socks....I had to waste a lot of yarn to make the socks match! The pants are pretty baggy so rather than had a lot of extra bulk at the waist, I knit in darts to nip the waist - which is elasticized. Also, as I hate to sew seams, the entire outfit is knit in the round - crotchless pants again! I couldn't knit the sleeves in situ so I knit each in the round and then had to sew them in....rats! The shoulders are 3 needle bind offs....what a godsend. The little crew socks are a breeze to make as there are no gussets! Again knit in the round with a 2 needle bind off at the toes! The yarn is self-striping and depending on the width of the garment the stripes can be thinner or wider! A lovely machine washable/dryable garment!
