My Creation:

This is the curtain and lampshade I made yesterday for our small spare room which i just redecorated. As its such a small room and only has one long thin window I only made one curtain to tie back to side. It only took me about 1/2 an hour to do sewing on the curtain and about an hour to fold and press edges ready for sewing and put pleats in top of curtain, which are sewn in place. I'd forgot to buy a new lampshade so I used a bit of spare material from curtain material and cut metal frame out of the old shade and made my own. The shade took about an hour too so in about 2 1/2 hours I had a curtain and shade. they aren't professional but I'm quite pleased with them.

Thanks Zolly x Its funny you say I should be chuffed with myself cos thats a saying hubby and I use a lot. Except we say 'chuffed to little mintballs' ( I'm not sure why mintballs) And sometimes just 'I'm mintballs'
