Knitting needle roll
This is my solution to all those missing needles from pairs, I took a couple of evenings to use up some wool and complete a simple project to give my brain a rest from studying. I knitted a stripy rectangle to the width of my longest needle and to the length that will hold my ever expanding needles collection with about 5cm extra. Then I knitted a strip about 4cm wide and long enough to wrap around the roll once it was full attached it, wrapped it round and tied a bow.
As I come to the end of the third year of my degree I am finding it difficult to concentrate on the more complicated knitting projects I have in mind or on the go after spending the day studying, one of which is part of my wedding dress, so to keep my hands and arms mobile the simpler the knitting the better
