folded flowers

My Creation

I got the template for these flower cards from the internet, mirkwood designs I think.
The silver and pink one was my second attempt. I made a box for that one.
these are really versatile, just put whatever occasion in the centre of the flower.
As you can see on picture 4 I placed the flowers on a square card, folded so it springs up on a sort of stand. I guess there's a name for that card fold but I don't know what it is.

I guess you could make more layers for a really big card, just remember they have to be folded up, it seemed to take forever!

I love these flower cards! A HUGE THANK YOU for posting where you can get the templates! I had been looking for a while for free templates of these flower cards without success! Now I can make them still IN TIME for Christmas!

Hi Cristina, I don't know if you managed to find the website that does these templates but I have since found that they are available on www.ruthannzaroff.com then click on the Mirkwood link. I tried just by putting Mirkwood designs but nothing came up. There's a different shape petalled one also, a bit more pointed. Hope you enjoy making them, nice idea for Christmas. They were fun to make. :o)

Hartstikke Mooi (Dutch word for VERY BEAUTIFUL). It looks so lovely and so well done with meticulous hands.
