Three Hour A-liner

My Creation

Literally a whole A-line skirt in 3 hours - how chuffed was I?!! Ok so I don't know if I'm 100% sold on the fabric, (it looks a little like the Home&Away school uniform huh?!) I keep telling myself that it's ugly beautiful!
I didn't have a pattern and just kind of winged it with tailors chalk, a tape measure and scissors!!
I'm so, so glad that the biege beast of a sewing maching (circa 1970!) is back on the kitchen table and seeing some battle action!! Yay!
This bad boy has darts in the front and back and a concealed zip - and here's the best part...it fits me!! Woopwoop!
(Again sorry for the topless shots of Darla!)

Nice work! LOL at the Home & Away reference. I haven't seen that since leaving the UK in 2002!

Wish I could make something this cute , even if it took me way longer. Great job.
