I have decided to put the cosplays all in one section as it is one long ongoing project I seem to be continually working on...
I make these for myself and my children, my daughter getting the benefit of most of them however...
These were mostly taken from Animes/mangas and made for the MCM Expo in London - many winning prizes.
1 - Is my daughter in a cosplay from the Anime "Alichino"
2 - My daughter as Suigintou from Rozen Maiden, my son is Ichigo from Bleach.
3 - My daughter (in the purple outfit) in the Cafe Costume from Tokyo Mew-Mew (I didnt make her friends outfit)
4 - another angle on the Rozen Maiden cosplay.
5 - Me in a novice Hame cosplay from Doctor Who (Just to be different). The mask was just a cardboard cat base from Hobbycraft covered in fake fur, trimmed to shorten around the nose and coloured with a felt tip pen.
6 - My daughter as Guilt-Na from the Manga Vampire Doll
7 - Myself as Carmilla from vampire Hunter D. I also had to make the wig by wrapping synthetic hair around a tube of upholstery foam.
Each of these had to have patterns drafted from scratch as there is nothing suitable out there already. It is good practice to try and work out solutions for the many problems which present themselves. Often it only takes simple shapes to make something which looks far more complicated than it really is
