salt dough beads

My Creation

Mel's been having some wisdom teeth out in hospital and so wasn't able to look after Alyssa. So the Demolition Demon came to stay with me for a few days. We made some salt dough, coloured it with food colouring and made it into shapes. Then just used a cocktail stick to make holes. Many years since I did this with our children, must remember next time BIGGER HOLES!!! Kept Alyssa amused for a little while.
PS The silver food coloring wouldn't mix - must have been the salt reacting - and the fumes............................................ wonder we could still breathe.
