Hubby took a child's bouncing horse off of the metal framework and mounted it on a closet rod. After several coats of white spray paint, I painted the details into the saddle and used one-stroke painting to decorate the rest. I mounted the closet rod in an old patio umbrella stand and added a finial, flowers and ribbons to the top. His reins are a length of beaded trim. The only things I had to purchase for this recycled project were the beaded fringe for the reins and the can of acrylic spray I used to give protection and shine. Almost forgot---the horse cost $10 at a flea market.
