Girlie scatter cushions

My Creation

I love making these. I used to be very nervous about applique but as the saying goes "practice makes perfect". Although my applique is far from perfect, it's getting there - lol.
The patchwork effect cushion was made using a technique I saw on Kirsty's Homemade Home. You just sew together ramdom pieces of fabric in any old way, then you cut it to the shape you want later and add the backing. mine's turned out a bit wonky, but I quite like the style of it.
This will be another thing I'll need to practice!!!
