My Creation

This was my second go at making Pip but when I came to do the face the paint bled and spoilt it so rather than ditching the whole thing I turned it back to front with a few adjustments and redid the face on the back of the head. He turned into a she and I am calling her Faydra. The hat is made out of an odd pop sox and embellished with a sequin over yarn. The hair is cotton thread sewn in and cut. Tomorrow I am making her a dress. She is holding a little crochet bag with her knitting inside. the needles are toothpicks complete with it's own I cording. Looks like I need another go to make Pip who is screaming out to be made in my head - maybe next time, at least Phalen now has a mate!

Faydra is 20cm tall - at the moment I am still playing around with a design for a dress.
