My Creation:

Made for my Mum's birthday this year, a marcasite watch face bought from Hobbycraft along with Swarovski crystals, a crystal set clasp and a "hand made" metal tag in the shape of a hand. I love it. If I didn't already own enough watches to change every day I think I would treat myself to one!

Thank you Andie. It was a lot less expensive to make than it could have been because I ordered the crystals sort of "in bulk"!! From Beads Direct, so have got lots of them left too! Lovely to play with occasionally ;)

Thanks Eileen. As I said I AM VERY proud of it! Had to buy a new battery for the watch a few weeks ago tho, which wasn't so good seeing as I only gave it to Mum in March this year! But still if you need a new battery for your watch Timpsons is a good move - they do a "lifetime" battery - Â£14.95 and if it fails all you do is take yr docket back to a Timpsons and they will replace it for you! I thought Â£14.95 was good seeing as a standard non-lifetime type battery was Â£9.95!
