My Creation:
Porcelain Doll.
I sort of inherited a porcelain doll's head, hands and feet from which I constructed a doll. After painting them with a leaf pattern to repeat the pattern in the fabric, I fashioned a wire armature for the body. I padded & covered the elongated body, arms & legs and then designed the juumpsuit & robe. The headpiece was made from scraps I had on hand. The only thing I purchased for her was the fabric for the robe. She was runner up in a CREATIVE HOME ARTS magazine contest.
