My Creation:
I made this quilted tin at a motor home rally. It was much easier than it looks All of the fabric pieces were folded & stapled to a circle of cardboard (piece cut from a cereal box) and glued in place. The lady teaching provided white eyelet lace to finish the edge with but I substituted the beaded braid and like it much better.
On another occasion, I did the same technique in miniature using paper and made a circular opening in a greeting card that, I thought, turned out rather well. Unfortunately, I didn't think to scan it into the computer before I sent it off.
