Labour of love

My Creation

This is a birthday present I made for a girl friend of my daughter who turned 6 today. I worked on it on and off for the past two weeks. Some of the techniques used were: stamping with Stazon, stitching, crochet, beading, embroidery, colouring with copic markers on cotton canvas, etc. The pink cherries you see were made based on Liz's (from TheCrimsonMoon) colossal beads beading technique (I recently bought the colossal beads tutorial from her). It took me more than two hours to make each cherry (without the wooden bead inside). All in all it was a lot of work, but I am very, very pleased with the result and so is Senna.
