My Creation:
Me & Hubby decided to make the most of the lovely April sunshine and get out to our local country park. It's only about a ten minute walk to get into the park which runs aroung the old railway line which in the past, transported the coal from the pit at the top of our valley - quite a different looking place now - the pit closed in the early 80's....
As a nod to it's industrial past the pit wheel is on display near the lake - you can see it in one of the pics.
Lovely walk and great to see loads of people using the park too. Also a great excuse to have ice cream - LOL....
