Simply Knitting 'Issue 65' April 2010
My Creation
I posted a knitted heart scarf just before Valentine's day.
I got the idea from the pattern 'Tender Hearts' in Simply Knitting. I was very pleased with the finished item and so was Rachel my neice. I decided to write a letter to 'Simply Knitting' and it was published in this issue (Issue 65 p.18). I received the prize which was a copy of Patons Woolcraft and a pair of 4mm bamboo needles. Well ladies lets hope I will be able to crochet before Easter. ha
This is what Simply Knitting published from my letter......
'I wish to convey my sincerest thanks for the Quick & Easy Knits section. I have only recently begun to purchase the magazine and already I find it is full of interesting knitting information and brilliant ideas! I recently knitted the pattern for Tender Hearts. I found it simple to follow and used the pattern to knit a 'scarf of hearts' for my 8 year-old neice Rachel. Rachel was 'over-the-moon' with the bright colours and enquired (at her tender age) where I got the idea.... So thanks again and please, please keep this section in the magazine!'
I was delighted with my prize......
Oh well done Caroline.I love knitting with Bamboo needles (when I get the urge to knit that is) haha. xx
