This is How K& T Crafting came about

My Name is Kim, I'm happily married to Tony we have been together for 8 years and been married for nearly 2 yrs, we have two beautiful, amazing boys. Kieran who is 6 and Dom who is 3.5, they are a big Blessing to us and make our family complete. They both have amazing characters and very creative like me. Tony is very understanding and encourages me and supports me in everything I do.

I started crafting 13 years ago back in South Africa, My mom who is very Dear and Special to me, is very creative and so was my Grandad. My mom always exceeded in everything she put her hands to, which was a great inspiration to me. I always wanted to follow in her foot steps. 13 years ago back in South Africa my dad paid for me to go on stamping course which I loved and enjoyed it so much I started to take an interest in arts and craft. My dad who was very dear and special to me bought all my first stamps and crafting kit and everything I needed or wanted to carry on with my stamping. I then came back to United Kingdom and carried on with my crafting, and every time somebody commented on my work I would thank my Dad for giving me the opportunity to put my skills to work. In 1999 my dad sadly passed away suddenly, the loss of my dad effected me badly and I found it hard to accept, My dad was everything to me, he was rock and my hero. I don't know why but I then stopped stamping and crafting and put my kits away, never went near them again. The only time I took them out or saw them was when we moved and I had to pack them away, I never used them but I had to take them with me. On the 13th April 2006 which was my dads remembrance I was up in the attic looking for something and sitting on the shelf was all my crafting and stamping goodies, and next to them was my dads pipe and tobacco, and there was strong smell of my dad. At that time I could feel a strong presence of my Dad and that point I picked up the box and came down stairs and said to Tony, I want to get back into my crafting and from that day.

K&T Crafting was born

. I will never look back on that day. My first project was to do all my own stationary for our wedding, We landed up doing everything for our wedding, Our wedding was extra special from the day we started planning it to the day itself as my dad was present in Spirit, and his Spirit was very strong and was a big comfort to me. Our wedding invitations were spectacular. My mom played a big part in helping with the design of invitations, having her help and and my dads spiritual presence made them extra special. Tony and I spent hours and days on the designs and planning, from the "Save the Date" notices,To the Invitations, to the order of service, to confetti, to the flowers, to the button holes to the pew bows to the car ribbon to the favors, to the hall decorations to the table layout to the candles, to the cake toppers to the flower girls posies and bridesmaids flowers, to the Bridal party thank you gift and Certificates, and finally the thank you cards. From then one my crafting has not stopped, I have just expanded and widened my selection.

I always put 100% in everything that I do.
